EPA Contractors Face More Tribal Claims Over Gold King Spill

Individual members of the Navajo Nation may proceed with negligence claims against EPA contractors over the massive 2015 Gold King mine spill that they allegedly triggered, the District of New Mexico ruled.

The contractors failed to show that the claims duplicated those of the American Indian tribe, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Mexico said May 31.
