The EPA denied allegations from the Democratic chair of a House committee that it blocked its science watchdog from appearing before the panel in a July 17 hearing.
Democrats had initially invited Francesca Grifo, scientific integrity official at the Environmental Protection Agency, to testify before a House Science, Space, and Technology subcommittee hearing on scientific integrity in federal agencies. But Grifo did not appear.
