EPA Air Quality Report Shows Gradual Gains and Recent Losses

The Environmental Protection Agency’s annual air quality trends report highlights long-term improvements in air quality, though shows only incremental improvements in recent years.

The data cites more than 100 million people living above unhealthy air levels, but doesn’t dive deeply into pollution issues in areas with longstanding air quality problems, including fenceline communities.
