EPA Again Says Roundup Ingredient Glyphosate Safe to Use

Government regulators reiterated their finding that glyphosate, the active ingredient in the pesticide Roundup, is safe for use.

In its interim decision on glyphosate, released to the public on Thursday, the Environmental Protection Agency concluded that “there are no risks of concern to human health when glyphosate is used according to the label and that it is not a carcinogen,” according to an agency statement.

Last April the EPA released a “proposed interim decision” on glyphosate, which said the herbicide is not a carcinogen. The document received over 280,000 comments on the Federal Register....
