ENERGY BRIEFING: Western Caucus Leaders Aim for Bipartisanship

The incoming chairmen of GOP-led western caucuses say they see potential areas for bipartisan compromise with the Democratic-controlled Congress and White House.

“If we want to get some wins, and wins means advancing our agenda, it’s only going to happen with a bipartisan solution,” said Sen. Steve Daines (R-Mont.), who is entering his third term as head of the all-Republican Senate Western Caucus.
