ENERGY BRIEFING: House Takes Up Interior-Environment Spending

House Democrats begin consideration today of a four-bill package that includes Interior-Environment funding, along with bills covering State and Foreign Operations, Agriculture-FDA, and Military Construction-VA appropriations.

House lawmakers made 132 amendments in order for floor votes on the package (H.R. 7608), teeing up votes on Alaskan oil and gas drilling, “forever chemicals,” and President Donald Trump’s overhaul of the National Environmental Policy Act.
