ENERGY BRIEFING: Biden Backs Lands Bill Ahead of House Vote

The White House “strongly supports” an eight-bill public lands package the House will vote on this week that would designate 1.5 million acres of Western federal land as wilderness and prohibit new mining near the Grand Canyon, Kellie Lunney reports.

The legislation (H.R. 803) furthers the Biden administration’s climate, conservation, and clean energy goals, the Office of Management and Budget said in a policy statement.
