DowDuPont, Boeing Seek Sustainable Superfund Cleanups

The Boeing Co. and DowDuPont Inc. are pursuing sustainable options at contaminated sites that reduce energy and cleanup costs.

The companies both handle multiple Superfund sites, a type of property that the Environmental Protection Agency deems the most contaminated in the country. Sustainable remediation is an opportunity for companies with contaminated sites to be creative with cleanup, a Boeing manager said.
