Defense’s PFAS Duties Boosted in Senate Bill Headed to Floor

The Department of Defense would have to meet certain deadlines and set cleanup schedules for “forever chemicals” under a $740 billion authorization bill headed to the Senate floor.

The Senate Armed Services Committee approved the fiscal year 2022 National Defense Authorization Act on a vote of 23-3 during a closed meeting on Wednesday.
