Dakota Access Pipeline Poised for Ruling as Soon as Next Week

A federal court’s decision on the fate of the Dakota Access pipeline could come as soon as next week after project opponents said they would file a final court brief April 26.

The U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia is weighing requests from the Standing Rock Sioux and other tribes to shut down the oil line in light of an invalid federal easement.
