Conservation Groups Revive Effort to Stop Wild Horse Removals

The Cloud Foundation, Western Watersheds Project, and one individual are appealing a ruling that it’s too late to challenge the Bureau of Land Management’s decision to remove wild horses from Nevada public lands.

The groups with appellant Laura Cunningham gave notice Wednesday that they intend to appeal a February decision granting the agency’s motion for summary judgment. The case will go before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.
