California approved a $200 million plan Dec. 13 that would use a portion of its Volkswagen settlement funds to invest in charging stations, zero-emission transit buses, outreach, and other infrastructure improvements.
The California Air Resources Board voted 12-1 on the plan that would also expand electric charging stations to three more metro areas, rural locations, and low-income or disadvantaged areas.
