Bull Trout Recovery Lawsuit Barred Due to Similar Litigation

Environmental groups can’t bring another suit challenging the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s recovery plan for bull trout, a federal appellate court ruled Wednesday, finding that their claims were precluded by their original litigation in a different district court.

Friends of the Wild Swan, and Alliance for the Wild Rockies sued the Service in federal court in Oregon, alleging that the agency’s recovery plan is inadequate.
