Michigan House Democrats called on the EPA on Tuesday to remove certain preconditions in collective bargaining talks over how the agency will handle regional staffers’ return to work during the pandemic.
The Environmental Protection Agency on Sept. 21 told the American Federation of Government Employees it would only move forward with the talks if the union agreed to exclude negotiations over mass transit, cubicles and offices, and other coronavirus-related concerns, the lawmakers said.
