BGOV Bill Summary: H.R. 4549, FY22 Energy-Water Funding

The Energy Department, Army Corps of Engineers, and related agencies would receive $53.2 billion in fiscal 2022 appropriations under H.R. 4549.

That total would be a $1.47 billion increase from fiscal 2021 and $398.8 million less than requested, according to the House Appropriations Committee’s report on the bill.

The committee approved the bill on July 16 by a party-line vote of 33-24.
