Workers at 15 U.S. industrial plants that import asbestos face too great a risk of getting cancer, yet that conclusion fails to recognize the cancer-causing mineral’s toll, a wide range of critics say about a high-profile EPA report.
The report, known as a draft risk analysis, will be the topic of a four-day meeting on asbestos’ risks at the Environmental Protection Agency.
