Administrator of EPA’s Midwestern Region Is Leaving Agency (1)

The head of the Environmental Protection Agency’s Midwestern office, the agency’s largest, is leaving her position.

Cathy Stepp announced she will depart EPA Region 5, which oversees Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin, to pursue “a professional opportunity” in Missouri. Her last day at the agency is Jan. 17, she said in an email sent to EPA personnel Jan. 6.
