From Lake Lanier in Major Water Rights Case

ATLANTA—A three-judge federal appeals court panel has ruled that the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has authority to allocate additional water from Lake Lanier to meet Atlanta’s growing water supply needs, saying the lake was built for the purpose of supplying the region with water (In Re: MDL-1824 Tri-State Water Rights Litigation).
