Xerox Retiree Denied Court Order Resuming Prior Health Coverage

A Xerox Corp. retiree who challenged the company’s 2019 decision to charge premiums to retirees receiving company-paid health insurance lost his bid for a preliminary injunction reinstating his prior coverage, according to a ruling by a New York federal judge.

Paul Vollmer hasn’t shown that he faces involuntary termination of his health coverage or that the harm he alleges can’t be remedied by an award of money damages, Judge Charles J. Siragusa of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York said Wednesday in an order denying Vollmer’s request for an injunction.
