Walmart to Pay $10 Million or More to End Military Job Bias Suit

Walmart Inc. will pay between $10 million and $14 million to settle a class lawsuit alleging it violated federal law by failing to pay uniformed service members for short-term military leave, court records show.

The total amount of the class settlement will depend on the number of timely class claim forms approved by the settlement claims administrator, according to the notice of settlement filed with the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
