The Trump administration touted its success in getting people enrolled in Obamacare plans for 2021, highlighting how improvements to the federal HealthCare.gov exchange facilitated the sign-ups.
About 8.3 million people selected individual market plans through HealthCare.gov, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services said in its final weekly enrollment report Tuesday. The agency said 7% more people selected plans in the 36 states that use the federal marketplace than for 2020, despite a decline in new consumers.
