New York Home Health Aide Suit Paused for SCOTUS Pension Case

A lawsuit accusing two New York health services companies of cheating home health aides out of wages and benefits will be paused while the U.S. Supreme Court considers a case involving U.S. Bank’s pension plan, a federal judge in Brooklyn ruled.

The health aides accuse Preferred Home Care of New York LLC and Edison Home Health Care of failing to pay them a portion of the wages required by New York’s Home Care Worker Wage Parity Law.
