Intel Asks Justices to Hear Spat Over Private Equity in 401(k)

Intel Corp. asked the U.S. Supreme Court to hear a case by employees challenging the alternative investments, including hedge funds and private equity, in their 401(k) plan.

The case would allow the court to resolve a circuit split on the deadline for filing lawsuits under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act, Intel said in its Feb. 26 petition for review.
