Health Plan Provider Gets Part of Lawsuit Sent to Arbitration

Health plan service provider WH Administrators Inc. must defend in court a proposed class action by an employee at a John Deere dealer who says the service provider “abruptly and without explanation” stopped processing claims.

Chief Judge S. Thomas Anderson of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee, however, ordered Tennessee Tractor LLC to arbitrate its claims against WH Administrators, which involve the same conduct alleged by the employee.
