Flight Attendant Pension Suit Against Travelport Partly Revived

A former United Airlines flight attendant scored a partial win in the Eleventh Circuit Friday, when the court revived part of her lawsuit accusing Travelport LP of shortchanging her pension benefits.

The district judge who heard Angela Williamson’s proposed class action against Travelport improperly ruled on the merits of Williamson’s benefits claim without seeing the full administrative record, including documents from three interrelated pension plans, the Eleventh Circuit said.
