Cornell, Northwestern, USC Hit With ERISA Lawsuits

St. Louis-based Schlichter Bogard & Denton continued its weeklong blitz on the retirement plans of prominent colleges by filing four new lawsuits, against Cornell University, Northwestern University, Columbia University and the University of Southern California.

The law firm, which has been one of the primary drivers of litigation over 401(k) plan fees, has now targeted 12 top colleges with lawsuits challenging the fees and investment options associated with their 403(b) retirement plans.
