Comcast Hit With Class Action Over Health Plan Notices

Comcast Cable Communications Management LLC failed to provide participants in its health and welfare benefit plan with adequate notice of their right to continued health care coverage under the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985, a former employee charges in a potential class action.

Newton Joseph alleges that Comcast’s COBRA notice isn’t written in a manner designed to be understood by the average plan participant.
