A general manager for Staples may proceed with her claim that she was discharged in retaliation for having taken nearly three months of leave under the Family and Medical Leave Act for mental and emotional health difficulties, instead of for the stated reason of having misused a $15 coupon when she returned to work part-time, a federal district court in Utah ruled.
