Former Spirit AeroSystems CEO Must Release Records in Pay Dispute

The former head of Spirit Aerosystems Holdings Inc. must turn over certain documents and redacted information in his breach of contract case against the aircraft maker, the District of Kansas ordered Oct. 8.

Larry Lawson retired as Spirit AeroSystems’ president and CEO in 2016. His retirement agreement guaranteed him about $4.7 million in cash, plus stock, but extended his non-compete obligations until 2018. Lawson sued Spirit after it declined to pay him over $2 million.
