CrossFit Gets $4 Million Sanction Against Rival for Misconduct

A California federal court sanctioned a rival of CrossFit Inc. for nearly $4 million after it committed discovery misconduct in a false ad suit that was “as egregious as anything” the court “has ever seen.”

The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California also ordered a default judgment against the National Strength & Conditioning Association, finding its actions were “the antithesis of transparency” and that it “repeatedly and willfully” failed to comply with discovery orders.
