The UK is asking for comments from businesses on plans to merge film and television tax relief measures into a single tax credit.
The UK Treasury said in a consultation launched Thursday that the eligibility requirements for film and high-end television tax relief have significant overlap. Its goal is to build on the tax relief provided “and go further to support the growth of the highly skilled and innovative audio-visual sectors.”
