Tax Court Chief Judge Vows to Improve New Online System

The U.S. Tax Court chief judge defended its new case management system, which brought much-needed upgrades but also some hiccups for attorneys.

There have long been technology and access issues at the Tax Court. The new system is meant to alleviate that, including with the ability to file petitions electronically, for example. So far, about 279 petitions have been e-filed and more than 10,000 documents have been filed through the system.
