Spain Again Delays Transaction Tax Payment Deadline (1)

Spain will delay until June the first payments due on its new financial transaction tax, the revenue authority announced Friday.

It marks the second deadline delay for the tax. The move will give more time for taxpayers to prepare and for the government to prepare regulations, the Agencia Estatal de Administracion Tributaria said. Regulatory developments related to the new tax are “pending approval,” the authority said.
