Peraton’s Temporary IRS Software Contract Survives Challenge

Peraton Inc. may keep its interim no-bid contract for tax software with the Internal Revenue Service, now that the U.S. Court for Federal Claims has denied a rival’s request for a preliminary injunction on public-interest and other grounds.

The factors for Harmonia Holdings Group LLC’s likelihood of success in the suit don’t resolve the case, Judge Kathryn C. Davis said for the court. But the company failed to show irreparable harm, Davis said in an opinion docketed Tuesday.
