OECD Plans Multi-Stage Process for Input on New Global Tax Rules

The OECD will hold multiple public consultations next year as it finalizes details of its two-part global tax plan ahead of a 2023 target for implementation.

Amount A of Pillar One—which reallocates a portion of the largest multinationals’ profits among more countries—will see a number of public consultations held in coming months on “separate building blocks” of the rules, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development said Tuesday.
