The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development said Wednesday that it’s tapped Fabrizia Lapecorella, a veteran Italian finance official, to serve as deputy secretary-general.
“Fabrizia brings significant experience and networks to the role following distinguished service as DG Finance and as Chair of the OECD Committee on Fiscal Affairs,” OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann wrote on Twitter.
Lapecorella chaired the OECD’s Committee on Fiscal Affairs in 2022 and served as the deputy chair between 2017 and 202, a critical time of negotiation on the Pillar One and Pillar Two tax agreements.
