The IRS is working to issue final regulations “as soon as possible” on three estate-tax items where proposed regulations were released last year, an agency official said Wednesday.
“We’re really putting a lot of time and effort into finalizing these regulations as soon as possible,” said Melissa Liquerman from the IRS Office of Chief Counsel, at a District of Columbia Bar tax conference.
