IRS News Release: Filing, Payment Deadlines Postponed Severe Storms, Tornadoes and Flooding Victims in Oklahoma (IRC §7508A)

Tax return filing and payment deadlines for victims of severe storms, tornadoes and flooding in parts of Oklahoma have been postponed until Sept. 1, 2022, the IRS announced July 5. The tax relief postpones various tax filing and payment deadlines falling on or after May 2, 2022 and before Sept. 1, 2022. Quarterly estimated tax payments due June 15 and quarterly payroll and excise tax returns due Aug. 1 are eligible for extension.
