Crypto User’s Suit Over Records Grab Rightly Tossed, Court Told

A cryptocurrency user’s lawsuit over whether the government should have notified him before seizing his records was rightly thrown out because the suit aims to restrain tax assessment, federal officials told an appeals court.

Officials were responding Tuesday to an appeal from James Harper, who is arguing that his lawsuit was wrongly dismissed by a lower court.
