New York A.G. James Seeks Dismissal of Trump Suit Over Probe (2)

New York Attorney General Letitia James asked a judge to throw out former President Donald Trump’s lawsuit seeking to block her civil investigation into asset valuations by his real-estate business.

James, who has been probing the Manhattan-based Trump Organization for possible fraud since 2019, argued in a federal court filing Wednesday in Albany that a judge overseeing an earlier clash in state court has already cleared the investigation and repeatedly ordered the company to comply.
