A medical marijuana proposal won final approval from a veto-proof majority of Mississippi lawmakers on Wednesday.
The legislation (S.B. 2095) would revive a program approved by Mississippi voters in November 2020 only to be scuttled six months later by the state Supreme Court. The Senate voted 46 to 4, and the House voted 103 to 13 to pass the bill.
