Maryland Couple Stuck With Lower Interest Rate on Tax Refund

Maryland properly paid a couple reduced interest rate on refunded income taxes they paid to other states, a Maryland appeals court ruled in a case it referred to as “the sequel to the sequel.”

Brian and Karen Wynne prevailed at the US Supreme Court in 2015 on their claim that Maryland was required to give them a full credit for income taxes paid to other states.
