Foxconn and Wisconsin Agree to Trimmed Down Tax Package

Foxconn Technology Group struck a deal with Wisconsin for a slimmer package of tax benefits for a manufacturing facility on Monday. It conceded its plans were less ambitious than the “eighth wonder of the world” once touted by former president Donald Trump.

Foxconn vice chairman Jay Lee and Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers released a joint statement saying a subsidy agreement had been struck for a development far different from the $10 billion high-tech manufacturing campus employing 13,000 workers announced in 2017.
