Low-Tax EU Countries Belong on Blacklist: Polish Minister (Corrected)

The EU must start including low-tax member states on its tax haven blacklist, Polish Finance Minister Tadeusz Koscinski said Monday.

Koscinski’s comments came as the European Union is set to update its list during a finance ministers meeting on Tuesday. The list, which doesn’t cover EU members, currently includes eight countries that the bloc has said don’t meet requirements for transparency and fair taxation. Countries on the blacklist face sanctions and the loss of some tax perks.
