G-24 Seeks Developing-Nation Role in Tax Pact’s Allocation Review

Developing countries must be adequately represented in monitoring the planned reallocation of corporate profits under the global tax agreement, the Group of 24 developing countries said.

A “selection filter” for developing countries should be used in choosing members for the review panels that will determine whether the reallocation rules are working and companies are complying with them, the G-24 said in comments submitted to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development last week.
