EU Greens Lawmakers Propose 60 Euros Minimum Carbon Price

EU Greens lawmakers want to impose a minimum price of 60 euros per ton of CO2 under the bloc’s Emissions Trading System, in order to speed up the Fit for 55 plan which aims to ensure Europe cuts emissions by at least 55% by 2030 from 1990 levels.
