Worst Black Lung Cases Rise, Prompt Democratic Response

The number of coal miners who have developed the worst form of black lung disease has jumped by more than 600 percent since the early 1990s, according to documents received by Bloomberg BNA, prompting assurances of a strong legislative response from the top House Democrat on worker safety issues.
