World Fuel Services Corp. and a former human resources employee settled her military status discrimination and retaliation claims based on her alleged delayed promotion and subsequent promotion denial.
The US District Court for the Southern District of Florida entered an order Monday closing Maria McSwain’s lawsuit under the Uniform Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act. That came after a mediator reported to the court on Feb. 3 that “the parties amicably resolved their dispute.”
The case is closed “for administrative purposes only” and all scheduled hearings and other deadlines are terminated, the court order said.
