Workplace Conduct Rules Get Second Look in Labor Board Spree

AT&T Mobility, Charter Communications Inc., Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, and a slew of other companies are finally getting the chance to defend the legality of their workplace rules under the National Labor Relations Board’s new, more pro-employer standard.

The agency went on a spree over the last four weeks, acting on 41 workplace rules cases in a 28-day period—about nine months after a Republican majority revised the board’s legal test for those rules.
