Workplace Bias During Pandemic Can Extend Past Asian Workers (Corrected)

Reports of harassment against Asian people due to the coronavirus could be trickling into the workplace soon. Claims could extend beyond one group, however, and intersect with disability discrimination and broader forms of racial discrimination among workers on the front lines of the pandemic.

Agency Action: The EEOC announced it would track bias charges related to Covid-19, signaling that there could be an uptick in discrimination similar to ones seen after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
